Information Security Administrator

Job Purpose

To perform information security related administrative tasks under supervision within the ambit of existing information security policies; rules; standards and processes; procedures and practices as well as business rules.

Job Responsibilities

Assistance with co-ordination and overall administration support for the Information Security Department which includes but is not limited to:

  • Co-ordinating and booking meetings
  • Managing boardroom calendars
  • Taking minutes where required
  • Tracking specific tasks and internal work items to completion, monitoring any deviations and raising these with the various senior team members
  • Managing the Demand Management mailbox and assigning resources to work requests from other departments
  • Logging requests on Service Manager and Techzone, and following up approvals timeously
  • Co-ordinating and updating various calendars for the operational teams
  • Assisting with internal department event co-ordination and social responsibility projects
  • Assisting Demand Management team members with adhoc administrative tasks.

Essential Qualifications – NQF Level

  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate

Preferred Qualification

CompTia N+ , Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate

Minimum Experience Level

At least 1 year in an IT environment (or Completed IT Learnership)
